Devlog 2 - We've Got a Name!
Welcome to Devlog 2!
Hello everyone! Welcome back to another update from Unitiyn't on our journey through the Multiplayer Game Development course at the University of Chile.
First things first, we've got a name! After a lot of time, we proudly present to you "Boulder Toss."
So, what's been happening in the world of Boulder Toss lately?
Well, we've been pouring our energy into refining the character's movements and enhancing the overall gameplay experience. One big improvement we've made is implementing a camera system that smoothly tracks the mouse movement.
Additionally, we've been working on synchronizing players' movements. Ensuring that every action is fluid across all players is crucial for an immersive multiplayer experience.
Of course, no earthbending showdown would be complete without some impressive abilities. That's why we're working on implementing earthbending moves like raising shields and hurling rocks at opponents. For now, we've only developed the shield ability, although it's in a testing phase.
